Challenge
Following a successful DTW-Ignite 2023, TM Forum was keen to raise the bar further for its 2024 event taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark. We had to build on last year’s success to further boost awareness of the event. In addition, TM Forum wanted to increase visibility of news in and around the show, maximising opportunities for media and analyst coverage of the event, and deepening relationships with industry influencers.
Solution
CCGroup carefully orchestrated a 6-month communications strategy, with regular media and analyst engagements to garner interest and excitement in the upcoming event. This included:
- An exclusive pre-event attended by 14 key industry influencers in February 23, four months out from the show, with Vodafone and Verizon member executives joining TM Forum CEO, Nik Willetts to discuss the growing AI trend in the industry—a key theme for DTW.
- 5x influencer briefings at MWC23 to further engage with TM Forum’s media and analyst target, and demonstrate the value TM Forum is bringing to its members.
- Ongoing news pipeline in months leading up to the show to keep TM Forum front of mind for target attendees, and tease the show’s themes and focus areas.
